The contract between us

  • Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with Integrated Sales Ltd.

  • Integrated Sales Ltd. must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.

  • Once payment has been received Integrated Sales Ltd. will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide. The confirmation email will include your name, the order number and the total price.

  • Integrated Sales Ltd's acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.

  • Integrated Sales Ltd.is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.


Payment details

  • All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pounds sterling by default.

  • We can accept payment in UK pounds, euros, US dollars or a range of other currencies. The default currency displayed on our website is UK Pounds Sterling, however you may choose to have prices displayed in Euro, US Dollars or a range of other currencies by selecting the drop-down options menu at the head of our website and make your payment in these currencies as required. Your payment card company will perform any currency conversion (at the prevailing rate at the time of your purchase) if you are purchasing our products from outside the UK.

  • Integrated Sales Ltd. accepts payment, through our card processing partners (Clear Accept) or through our PayPal account. Payment cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch, Maestro and Delta.

  • Credit card payments are debited at the time of order. To protect your security and prevent credit card fraud where possible, we reserve the right to ask for proof of ID and to carry out a credit check where necessary.


Pricing

  • Prices shown are in UK Pounds Sterling and is the price you pay, unless an exception to this is specified in the product's description page on our website.

  • On many of our products, there is no charge passed onward to you for standard postage, shipping, handling or other costs within the UK mainland. Postage options, other than our standard free postage are available for a fee. Please see the 'Delivery & Returns' information on this page for full details.

  • For the larger items we may have to charge postage and if this is the case, this will be clearly specified within that particular product's description.


VAT- free pricing

  • Some product's offered by Blackhill Health are classified as medical instruments, specifically Alpha-Stim devices, and so are available for purchase VAT-free by patient's whose diagnosis qualifies them for this tax exemption. 

  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their eligibility for this exemption and you are liable to severe penalties for making false declarations in this regard.

  • If you believe you may be eligible to purchase Alpha-Stim products free of VAT, please read the VAT declaration information on the product's description page. If, after reading this, you wish to proceed with a VAT-free purchase, then please select the appropriate VAT-free price for your chosen product from the drop-down menu.

  • Your selection of the VAT-free pricing option will be taken as your declaration that you are eligible and entitled to buy Alpha-Stim devices on this basis.

  • The prices displayed for Alpha-Stim devices are, by default, the price exclusive of VAT.

  • Your active selection of the VAT-free price option from the drop-down menu will be deemed to be your electronic signature on a VAT declaration, confirming your eligibility to make a VAT-free purchase.

  • Please be aware that Integrated Sales Ltd. is unable to give any advice regarding the eligibility for VAT relief. If you are in any doubt as to whether you are eligible to receive goods or services zero-rated for VAT you should consult Notice 701/7 VAT reliefs for disabled people or contact the National Advice Service on 0845 010 9000 before signing the declaration in this way. There are severe penalties for making a false declaration.


Order processing

  • Order processing time and subsequent estimated shipment date on your order is based on product availability, payment processing time, and administrative processing time and does not include transit time.

  • Order processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need to take payment and full payment or a full authorisation, in the case of credit card, has been received by us.

  • Order Dispatch Times: We aim to dispatch orders received Monday to Friday within 24 hours of order placement This dispatch target excludes bank holidays and is always subject to confirmed receipt of your payment. In practice, the majority of orders we receive are dispatched on the same day. If, for any reason, the dispatch of your order seems likely to be delayed by 48 hours or more from the time your order was placed, we will email to advise you of this and provide you with the expected dispatch date.

  • You will be emailed with confirmation of your order, along with any updates on order processing and confirmation of dispatch, at the email address you gave us when placing your order.

  • By submitting your order you are offering to buy goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We reserve the right to accept or reject orders placed on the website or by any other means.


Availability of goods you order

  • If Blackhill Health has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you within a reasonable time frame, we will notify you of this as soon as possible. We will also notify you of an expected delivery date and, should this prove unsuitable to you, a full refund will be given. Refunds will be re-credited by Integrated Sales Ltd. to your account and Integrated Sales Ltd. will notify you of this by email at the address given to us by you in your order. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order.Integrated Sales Ltd. will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

  • Integrated Sales Ltd. endeavours to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers from time to time; but please remember that stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the website when goods have sold out at a promotional price can take a few hours.

Delivery

UK delivery estimated times
  • Free delivery: 2-3 working days

  • First Class: 1-2 working day

  • Special Delivery: 1 working day before 1pm (where available)

  • Recorded Delivery: 1-5 working days depending on size/weight of parcel

Delivery charges
  • UK – a large number of our products are eligible for free delivery and are sent by the Royal Mail's 2nd Class letter or parcel service as appropriate. Alternative paid-for postage options are offered for most products at checkout.

  • UK – all items over £50.00 in value will be sent by Royal Mail's 2nd class "Signed For" service, which normally delivers to the customer within 2-3 working days (excluding Sundays and public holidays). Items over 2 kilos in weight may, alternatively, be sent via courier service, usually DPD or ParcelForce with delivery taking 1-3 working days.

  • Europe (incl. Eire) – orders sent by Royal Mail International Recorded or by courier service at the cost shown at checkout

  • Rest of the World – orders sent either by Royal Mail International Recorded or courier service – costs depending on weight and the country being delivered to, please contact us to discuss your requirements if these are not covered by the options available at checkout.

  • Customers outside the UK are advised to choose the correct delivery options at checkout and to email us for further advice if necessary. Failure to select & pay the correct postage will delay the processing and dispatch of your order and, in certain cases, may result in your order being cancelled by us and any payment refunded.

Other delivery terms and conditions
  • We regret that we cannot be held liable for delays in shipping caused by the courier/carrier.

  • Signature may be required for delivery: Many of our shipments contain valuable equipment and will be sent by “signed-for” post. If an order has been signed for, it will be deemed by us as delivered.

  • For any special requests regarding delivery (such as requiring parcels to be left with a neighbour to sign on your behalf) you must email us separately, prior to placing your order through our website, in order to avoid disappointment. Please note that once your order has been readied for shipment or has shipped, we are unable to change the shipping address. Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you and we cannot accept responsibility in the event of any loss arising from your failure to advise us of your special requests for delivery.   • If a customer's order is returned to us undelivered, we will be happy to arrange re-delivery, however the return shipping costs and redelivery costs will be the buyer's responsibility. If the customer wishes to cancel their order once it has been returned to us, we will be happy to issue a refund if the order is cancelled within 14 days of the order date, however our original postage costs and any return postage costs will be deducted from the total.

  • If a customer fails to collect or fails to arrange a re-delivery date for a parcel which Royal Mail or a Courier has attempted to deliver within 7 days of the original delivery attempt, the parcel will be returned to us. Blackhill Health would be happy to resend the order after it has been returned to us, however because Royal Mail have attempted delivery we are unfortunately unable to resend your parcel free of charge if this is how the product was originally offered at the time of purchase. Postage and packaging charges will apply and need to be paid in advance by the customer before a returned order can be resent.

  • If a customer has provided us with incorrect or incomplete delivery details during the checkout process and the order is delayed during transit or lost, Integrated Sales Ltd. will not be held liable and no refund or replacement will be issued.

  • Only orders that have not been delivered within 15 working days of posting, can be declared as "missing" or "lost". If your order is declared as "missing" or "lost" by Royal Mail, we will be re-sending your order as soon as we have received confirmation of this from Royal Mail. Orders cannot be re-sent until we have had confirmation from Royal Mail that your parcel is "missing" or "lost". Refunds will not be issued until we have received confirmation or compensation from Royal Mail.


Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Statutory "cooling off" period
  • You have a statutory right to a "cooling off" period. This period begins once your order is complete and ends 14 days after the goods have been delivered.

  • You must advise us of your wish to return the product within 14 calendar days of taking delivery. You then have a further 14 calendar days to return the goods to us.

  • If you wish to return any goods under the 14-day returns period, please email us ([email protected]) to obtain a Return Authorisation Code with which to label the package, and details of the return address The return address may vary, depending on the product being returned, and so please do not attempt to return items without first contacting us to obtain the correct return details and your return authorisation code. For certain items, you will also be required to complete a Return Authorisation Form, which must be enclosed with the items you are returning. If you fail to follow these return instructions, we may have no means of tracking your returned goods and so will not accept responsibility for the loss of your returned items, or any other losses that you suffer as a consequence.

  • Please be aware that certain items are excluded, under consumer law, from the “cooling-off” period. These include personal items (products that have direct contact with the skin, such as intimate products, massagers etc). CD/DVDs and software, unless these items are returned unopened with seals intact.

  • If the item you wish to return is returnable under law, then the product must be returned to us “as new”, which is to say packed in the original unmarked packaging, with seals intact and including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration papers that shipped with the product.

  • Please note that, if the value of the goods is diminished by any amount as a result of handling of the goods by the customer beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods, we reserve the right to recover that amount from the customer, up to the full price of the goods. NOTE: The term "handling" is taken to mean the sort of handling of the goods that might reasonably be allowed if viewing the goods in a shop.

  • If you return products that are not ‘as new’ (as defined above) or outside the 14-day "cooling-off" period, we may, at our discretion, refuse to give you a refund, refund only a part of the original price paid or may charge you a handling fee.

  • Blackhill Health will offer you a refund based on your original method of payment.

  • If returning a product within the cooling offer period in exchange for a refund, a refund will be issued less our shipping costs to you. You are solely responsible for the cost of shipping any item(s) returned to us under the terms of the cooling off period.

  • Our refund policy excludes the cost of any 'consumables' where these are packaged together with refundable 'product(s)' and for which no refund is given due to hygiene and safety reasons, unless these 'consumable' item(S) is sealed or the item(s) is faulty.

  • Blackhill Health recommends that you (a) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (b) either insure your package for safe return to Blackhill Health. or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit as you will be responsible for any such loss or damage during shipping. Shipping fees are solely your responsibility and are non-refundable.


Damaged goods

  • In the unlikely event that your order is damaged in transit you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and contact Blackhill Health immediately. In any event, we require written notice of the damages within 7 days. Send notification to: [email protected]

  • Blackhill Health shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods.


Faulty goods

  • Faults on receipt of goods: If you suspect a fault with your product on receipt, please email us at [email protected] within 7 days of purchase.

  • We will then either assess the possible of fault ourselves or may direct you to the respective manufacturers helpline.

  • This initial call may prevent any unnecessary return to us and save you the return delivery costs should the product be found to be in full working order. In the event that you return a product to us which is subsequently found to be in full working order, we reserve the right to return the goods to you with a £15 administration charge.

  • However if there is an obvious defect and/or under the manufacturers recommendation it needs to be returned to us, please notify us ([email protected]) to obtain a Return Authorisation Number and a Returns Form, to complete and enclose with your goods.

  • Faults developing within 30 days of purchase: If your goods are faulty we will offer as prompt a replacement (or refund) of the relevant components, as soon as the fault is confirmed. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse. A replacement will only be issued when the faulty item returned is in an ‘as reasonably to be expected' condition and has undergone technical examination to establish the fault. We must be notified of the fault within 30 days of purchase along with proof of purchase which MUST be provided. Faults developing after 30 days from purchase and within the manufacturers guarantee period: we will ask you to either return the goods to ourselves or direct to the manufacturers. We generally recommend to return goods directly to the manufacturers as this will be quicker. Any goods that are faulty will be replaced or repaired free of charge.

    PLEASE ENSURE: That you register your new product with the manufacturer, in accordance with their directions, in order to activate the free warranty period. Blackhill Health cannot accept responsibility for your failure to do so and for any consequential loss suffered by you as a result of this failure.

    PLEASE NOTE: Any repairs must be accompanied by your original purchase receipt. For any goods that have a more than 12 months warranty, we may, at our discretion, apply a small administration charge to cover our costs after the first 12 months, usually £10.00.

    PLEASE ALSO NOTE: It may take 4-8 weeks or longer for repairs to be undertaken, depending on the manufacturer, the country of manufacture and the problem.
